:: quick facts, thursday, october 16

i'm back in slidell, under both the saddest and the happiest of circumstances. first, becca's cousin, julie, died after being in a car accident over the weekend. we drove down here yesterday to attend the wake last night, and then went to the funeral this morning. she left behind lots of people that loved her and are hurting now that she's gone, most especially her three young children. if you happen to remember them, please keep them in your prayers. 

now, tomorrow starts the happy part of the weekend. my good friends chris and chirstie are getting married on saturday! i'm so happy for them. they really are a great couple, and really good friends of mine and becca's. they asked me to be an usher in the wedding and invited me to the rehearsal dinner too. which is cool. so i figured i'd return the favor and get a haircut and at least look presentable for the wedding.

current location :: my parents room, with the super fast internet. (seriously, it was so good that i was able to watch fringe on hulu in hd with no hiccups at all)

currently watching :: goosebumps with my brother. it's the famous one with the ventriloquist dummy. creepy.

current price of a gallon of gas in slidell :: i saw somewhere that was selling gas for $2.79. it's getting less expensive (notice, it's still not cheap.)

fact :: though the blog tends to be view best when using mozilla firefox (the embed videos don't show up right in other browsers some times), i'm blogging right now from safari. i really like it a lot. i'm testing it out.
